MVF is located in beautiful, rural Blairstown, in Warren County, New Jersey. We are a small farm, raising healthy, sweet-natured, ADMS registered miniature donkeys and ADMS registered small standard donkeys. Our two herd sires are extremely laid-back and gentle. Our jennets are sweet, friendly and are good mothers. We have two miniature horse mares that we hope will produce miniature mules for sale in the future.

Each foal born at MVF receives a complete new foal exam by our vet within 24 hours after birth. This exam includes immunity level and white/red blood cell counts, as well as a routine wellness exam. Each foal is vaccinated against tetanus and is given a preventative antibiotic. He spends the next 5 months with his mother and us, being handled, loved and prepared for his new family. At the age of four months, our foals begin their vaccination program against rabies and EWT. All of our donkeys are also vaccinated against PHF and Rhino/Flu.

Our donkeys and horses do not compete in shows because of time constraints. However, they originate from hardy bloodlines and we strive to breed for color and conformation. Most importantly, our philosophy is no matter how handsome or eye-catching a donkey is, his disposition is equally as important. We want the new owners of our donkeys to be as happy with them as we are. If you're looking for a companion, a show donkey or a guardian donkey, we just may have the perfect long ears for you.

MVF is now breeding Boer and percentage Boer Goats for sale. Our goat kids will be sold as pets/companions only.
